Developers-  Own, build and operate wind power projects.

Utilities-  Provide electricity to consumers.  Own some transmission lines.  Sometimes they act as the developer.  Other times, they buy electricity form the developers or other middlemen.

Power Marketers-  Market and sell power from wind power projects to utilities.

Wind Turbine Manufacturers-  Manufacturer the wind turbines and sell to either whoever is developing a wind power project.

Consultants-  Provide developers with information about existing winds, transmission lines, strategy, geology etc.
